Hi! My name is Yaxeny, I'm an incoming junior at UIC, and I'm majoring in general Biological Sciences with a Pre-Vet path. I'm very excited to be a part of this cohort and to learn more about the decline of monarch butterflies concerning milkweeds in Chicago. I love studying in the field and conducting research, so I cannot wait for the start of this summer
