Instructor Workshops
Each summer CIM²AS instructors attend a week long summer workshop to develop learning modules based on aspects of monarch and milkweed biology and chemistry. The workshop is designed to build an integrated curriculum and develop a faculty community that understands and promotes inclusive learning. The 2022 summer workshop was held from June 27 - July 1 and included instructors from several high schools, colleges, and universities. Instructors engaged with one another as well as participated in dialogues with the Latino Cultural Center, discussing the intersection between Latinidad and the sciences. The summer 2022 workshop was held in person and was the first completely in-person workshop we've held since the program began in 2019.
