Research Intern, Summer 2020
Hello, I am a Chicago native. I enjoy acting like a tourist in my own city to find places I've never been to and appreciate what the city offers. I enjoy thrift shopping, tailoring clothes, and reading fiction novels. I decided to attend community college after high school to better acquaint myself with the college atmosphere with more individualized attention. My interest in science started to grow in my late teenage years, but I didn't decide to major in Biology until last year. Helping my classmates work through the material within my courses helped me learn of the different disciplines I can focus on. I decided Biology would be a good fit since I hope to become a pediatrician after working with children in different environments. Blending the humanities with sciences intrigues me to find different ways in which science principles can affect human life.
