About
Hi! My name is Elizabeth. I’m a recent City Colleges of Chicago graduate and I am continuing my education at Northeastern Illinois University. I am majoring in Environmental Science and hope to minor in Chemistry. My main research interests involve symbiotic relationships. I love learning about the ways species impact each other’s evolution and function in the environment. I’m also interested in how human behavior impacts other species, as well as the environment as a whole, and the roles that culture and society play in these interactions. I believe that all beings are dependent on each other. This idea fuels my passion for environmental science and pushes me to consider others with every action I take. I’m excited to be a part of this program this summer and look forward to the experiences it will bring.
