About
David Zaya is a plant ecologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey. His current research includes work on milkweed and monarch population monitoring. He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from UIC. As a graduate student, he taught and mentored many UIC undergraduates. Zaya will direct the CIM²AS summer research experience for undergraduates.
